trophies are for losers! losers with low self esteem that need plastic paperweights to make them feel better...

i do it just to do it...

for me, spending 5000 on a car for a trophy is a pretty bad trade-off...

i just when ppl think their cars are the ____ bc they got a trophy for it

 

I use to talk to body builders and even with their tons of trophies and women they say....All that strain for a plastic trophy...
Except in this case it'll put a pain in your pocket

 

definately clean man..
i mean sure the crazy looking flashy cars will get the trophy..
but clean usually gets the respect =p

 

I dont mind a show car but I beleive it should be treated as a car and not be kept in a garage all the time. ITS A CAR!!!

Why don't you guys do your own show? Not sure how you'd do it though since I know nothing of showing If its judged by people like you, those who like the clean look, it would be more fun. I think..

 

^^ true, that would definitely be worth while. I don't bother with the big time shows like HIN, Autofest etc.. because I don't have a body kit, or vertical doors, crazy custom paint, fancy graphics all over or a custom sound system that defeats the purpose of having back seats and/or a trunk..so my cars wouldn't even be considered as "show" material -

but-- Clean, def FTW.

i think someone should talk to a dealership or someplace and ask them if we can organize a meet, setup a location, date, and post it on here. Also mention CLEAN CARS ONLY.

 

^I'm still working on something like that for my dealer. I just need to get dates for existing shows. With all the shows in the summer months its hard to plan.

 

Trust me, when Dezod is just a 10-15 min. drive from home, you would put the"show" on hold as well. I know I did!!
