Default clicking and clacking sound...help!

okay party ppl i need all your help...laely i have noticed a weird sound cummin from the bottom of my car...when i drive my car i sometimes i hear a weird clickin and clacking sound fome under my car....i dont alway notice it but i dont like hearing it....i dont kno what wrong. I also heard this sound from both of my past cars as well infact i have also heard this sound in most old cars....cars that are about 7-8 years old....i dont kno what is causing it, but a while back i let my cuz test drive the tC and the crackhead rean over a huge pot hole going 25mph...it sounded so back, thought the rim broke...there was no damage, but iam guessing that maybe the noise is commin from the spindle or other retating part....any suggestions?...btw i havent taken it to the dealer yet...i wanted to kno all your inputs...thanks

I believe that noise you are hearing might be the ABS pump. When you start the car, the ABS pump needs to do a self-diagnostic. When you start to accelerate and pass 4 mph, the pump will engage and do the test. Next time you start your car, don't turn on the A/C or radio. As you start moving, listen carefully to the ABS pump self test.

oh okay...well one thing for sure is that i hear the sound at mostly low RPMs....but i dont think it the ABS pump....this noise kinda sound like someone rattleing a metal chain....and i kno that its caused by something that rotates.....can a spindle or a lose CV joint make that kinda sound?? thanks alot for the inputs guys.

Whoops I didnt see the first "cOmmin". Does the clackin get a little faster the faster you drive? Like if a nail is stuck in the tire or something? Cause when Im driving with my windows down and its in an echoey area I hear a clacking noise going to the revolution of my tires.
