is the noise coming from your brake pedal? because mine was making a clicking noise. i bought it in, they said it was a normal noise for the brake sensor switch. i have a 5 speed and it was making the noise in everygear, regardless of the car even being turned on. it's not really doing it anymore though

its sounds sorta like if you sit in a manual car and jus shift without the car being on..except for of a higher pitch click noise

I just started hearing the same thing on my auto tc, about 500 miles ago.It seems to be coming from the front brakes. The car doesnt pull to one side are anything bad just the same click sound you mentioned. When I go in for my next oil change I'm gonna have them take a look.I was thinking it could be the wear indicaters on the pads, but they normally screech.

i had my tC into the dealer for other reasons and mentioned the same problem with mine. He said it was the brake calipers shifting from the forward to the back position in between two pins. He told me that it was perfectly normal and there was nothing to worry about, i was just like you when i first started hearing that noise.

If you went kinda fast, it might be the ABS. Sometime one of the wheels doenst touch the ground (very easy to do with low profile tires), then the ABS activates.. I dont know.. maybe I am wrong.

hey guys mine does this too and while it was brought in for a look, the service manager told me specifically that i twas normal and that it was the pads switching sides? something like that he said that once u put new pads in it will go away but when it wears down then its gunna make that noise again....also there was a toyota rep. there as well to check out the problem!

well i completely forgot to ask about this when i went for an oil change on friday . i was too into a conversation i was having wit one of the scion salesman who happen to own a FM tC. however i did manage to pick up on a hint he gave me that the trd supercharger was not going to be released on its rumored date of late september . i know..well he could be wrong but he felt really strongly about it. well everyone says the noise is normal wear, so i guess whenever i upgrade breakpads i'll let yall know if the noise is gone.
