Default Clutch replacement for SC?

Does anyone know if the SC is going to required a clutch upgrade? I assume future tCs that have the SC from the factory will also include the TRD performance clutch, but will current NA tCs need to upgrade their clutches?

I know the gains aren't huge enough to warrant them, but at least in VWs when uber-tuning the 1.8t a VR6 clutch upgrade is pretty much necessary.

ATs will probably be just fine...

a 40 hp and 40 ft/lb increase certainly isn't so substantial as to summon a new clutch. if new pulleys become available for the trd supercharger, however, one might need to consider a new clutch. In my experience, you dont need a new clutch until you increase at least 80-90 hp.

since they are giving you 3 yr warranty, they will also make you purchase new clutch if you need it... you probably wont, since this car was built with S/C in mind from start on...

From a few of the other topics on here its sounds like the S/C will come in different stages so I would assume as you pay for a higher stage S/C they will upgrade stuff like the clutch if need be.
