where is this "cell phone holder" is it that thing above the cup holders and below the shift ****?!

no way scion says thats a cell phone holder... the real cellphone holder is the cup holder insert, that one is awesome

I never thought it was though, though... I just thought it was an auxiliary compartment that just happened to fit my cellphone perfectly

and I do use the cupholder as well

Just loosen the area by the shift ****, then remove the coin holder/cup holder area.

 

Engineer's are smart people, disassembly of the center console is idiot proof. Don't be lazy, just take it apart.
