Default Color code location and purchasing touch up paint

Hello. Does anyone know where the color code is located on the tC? And what is the color code for the Flint Mica?

I am going by the dealer to purchase touch up paint. Any better suggestions on where to buy touch up paint other than the Scion dealer?

Thanks for any info.

Kevin

Think you are correct. When I look at the white label on the driver's side door jam, I see a "1EO" but there are a ton of #s on that label.

Also, can't believe how many places the VIN # is located. Hopefully will help deter stealings.!

In terms of VIN# locations..... not sure if Scion will try this but I know some other car dealers (Toyota included) try to sell people on getting certain parts of their car "etched" or something like that. For a nice price the buyer gets a number etched on 6 or so different parts of the car. Given that Scion puts the VIN all over the place already the etching is just a profit center for the dealer.

Whether the VIN # all over the place actually deters theft is another topic for debate..

honestly, you're better off not using that crap, it's only going to show up even more cuz your paint ha faded and that's brand new paint.

not only that I did the dupli-color one and you have to be extremely careful when sanding...

interestingly enough, the dupli-color toyota arctic silver is effectively identical to my tc's Silver Streak mica. I had to sand and paint half my front bumper in december and even though it's a rattle-can job you really have to look close to tell - and that's if you know I repainted it...
