Which color tC is getting overrated?
I actually like all the colors. I'm getting a Flint Mica, because i've always wanted a charcoal colored car. Each person has different preferences. It doesn't matter how many FM I see, I'm still going to want that color.
I got the Flint Mica. I've always had BLACK cars my whole life...well, my two previous cars were black, and i loved them. However, I thought I wanted something different. I really like the Flint color...almost black, but not quite.
I honestly think silver looks cheap on almost EVERY card, white is ok..but I'm not sure if I like the white with the black top. Blue is blue...not really my fav on a car. Azure Pearl was kinda girly to me....Black Cherry Pearl also seems kinda girly...looks purplish to me. It looks ok sometimes, but other times I hate it....
So, Flint and Black look the best to me. Glad I went with my Flint...now I must wash it today since weather outlook looks good.

i have owned black cars all my life now i just got a silver tc and i love it.. it takes some time getting use to.. all the tcs the dealer got in are silver it will take months to get any other color then that at least tahts the way it is in my area
listen, everyone... i think people should just get what they want , REAGARDLESS of who has it and whatnot...
the black sand looks NICE... personally, i think black is the best color for cars... my friend got hers and it made me think if i got the right color.. however i've had two black cars in a row in the past and grew tired of the maintenance... my **** best friend who had a black 330ci (took care of it like it was his sole purpose in life) sold it for a silver 540i and now he is enjoying the fact that it's so much easier to take care of... however, i will say that the pearliness of the black sand DOES make it easier to take care of (swirlies less noticeable, don't have to work as hard to buff out wax, etc) than a straight black car.
i mean, i can understand that ppl want to be unique and all that... i guess lucky for me, since my friend with the black sand was the first in Staten Island to get her tC, I'll be the second with my Flint Mica... but eventually, ppl everywhere will have the same color you have so don't sweat it man.
if you like the white, then by all means stick with it! i wanted a white car badly after my two black cars, but just didn't fully like the way it looked on the car... but that's MY opinion and NOT saying that you made a mistake or anything like that... just enjoy it!

and yeah i looked at the black sand and it was too awesome, but i know i would be tired of keeping up with the maintenance haha.
I originally set out to get a Flint Mica. Then I saw the car in that particular color and realized that it didn't look like Black Sand as the internet pictures showed it. I decided not to get it on that premise alone. Now I hear that many of you (message borders) are getting or got the Flint Mica. I think that it is an overrated color. I went with the Silver Streak Mica. Whatever makes you guys happy do it. Don't let the message board disway you from getting what you want. For me, SSM was the way to go.
i must say... i saw a silver streak with the bodykit at my dealership and it looks alot better than i thought... not that i was expeting it to look bad, but i always thought silver to be a bit of a boring color... not the the tC ;)
As far as over-rated. I think the Flint Mica will be the most over-rated. Next in line is the Silver. These two colors will probably flood the streets after a few months. Granted they do look nice and I'm sure the resale value for these particular colors are highest all the colors; but I'm looking forward to have a more "rare" or not as popular color.
I just talked to the local dealer near me and he told me that there only sending over like 50,000 tC's for this year and thats it so the picking is slim if I wanted a certian color.Has anybody else heard this news? He told me if I wanted black it would take like 6 to 9 months, but if i wanted silver or flint mica it would take about 6 weeks from another dealer.
i have a BSP tC and i LOVE it. its my first black car and very hard to maintain but IMO, its the best looking color on the tC. as far as overated, Flint Mica looked nothing like the pictures did.. its still a nice color, but its not charcoal, its not thunder, its more blue than gray. if u havent seen it in person, the shade is a lot like the bluish-gray 04 accords out there. for some reason, lots of ppl think its a charcoal color.. if thats what u guys are expecting, i highly recommend that you see it in person before deciding which color you want. as for the other colors, the lighter shades didnt appeal to me at all. surprisingly, BCP is now second on my list after seeing all colors.
i took what they had. the dealer told me that i could preferance a color but he doesnt know when he will actaully get that color. i got lucky cuz i got a 5spd thank god i dont think i could ever drive the tc in auto
