Default compustar w/ manual tranny

anyone install/plan to install a compustar alarm/remote starter on their manual tranny tC? any feedback?

im thinking about the compustar 2WSS-AS (two-way spread spectrum alarm/starter combo).

How is it possible to bypass the Clutch, would the car be able to start at any time without the clutch pressed, or would he clutch only be bypassed when the remote starter is used

pretty much makes it think the clutch is in, not what you are thinking where it would think its always out

yea, once you get the clutch bypassed, you dont ever need to press the clutch to start, even with your key

when i got my alarm installed, the guy showed me starting the car with the key without pressing clutch..ive done it a couple times, but habit has me still pressing in the clutch

for the model i got, local shops are sellin it for $550+ or so for the unit including installation...ebay has um for like $250, if you could do the install yourself or have a hookup.

you could get the autopage 855 for $180 on ebay and do it yourself following a how to that is sure to pop up. the Autopage is great

the guy who did my alarm (my boys cousin) said its harder than normal alarms and it dont come with install instructions, even for them so he had to fiddle it around the first time he installed that model at his shop.
