Default condensation inside CD player?

don't know if anyone experienced this before, but when inside the cabin is cold and outside temperature is warm, and you open your window, not only the outside of the cd player (if your radio lid is open) has condensation, but also the CD inside the player has condensation as well, if you are playing music, your CD player will skip or even stop.

i don't know if it's because one of the air vent above the CD player is close or not, making the A/C blowing on the radio creating the condensation. Just thought that it would be better if pioneer would include a lid that covers the place where you insert the CD on the radio, like the RSX or something would prevent such a thing from happening.

I have heard of it before. I would check the foam insulation around the vent couplings behind the center console. I could see how cold air blowing on the unit could make it condensate inside due to the warmer, more moist air within the unit. But I would think the radio door would block this.

Either way, I believe I heard that somones was missing that foam insulation all together and the dealer installed it to correct the issue.. it has been a while since I heard anything about it though. I am sure you will find it on a search somewhere.

This is where I would check first:
