Cop had no clue what my car was
I went to file a report today about getting keyed and when the officer was filling in the car info (while standing in front of it) he asked, "what kind of car is it?"
"Scion tC"
"Who makes it?"
"Umm...Toyota, but Scion is its own brand."
"Oh. Well, what's the model then?"
"tC"
"Oh...ok."
Shouldn't cops know simple things like this? I would think it'd help to know what current cars are, especially in the case of a real incident. "Yeah I'm in pursuit of a silver...umm....coupe?"

My brother use to pull over Porsche 356's (yeah a long time ago) and ask the owner what year Volkswagon he had. That would frost them everytime.................he said their ears would turn red.
I just registered my car again.
Guy at the DMV: "What kind of car is it?"
Me: "Scion tC."
Guy: "Ion VC?"
Me: "Scion tC."
Guy: "Sky-on VC?"
Me: "tC."
Guy: "Who makes it?"
Me: "Scion."
I really hope he was just messing with me.

My registration said Toyota Scion as well.
I told the Lady it was a scion tC. She asked who made it. I said Scion. She said I know, but who is the maker. I said they are owned by toyota. She said ok then toyota is the maker not scion.
I then asked her if she asks who makes Ford Mustangs. She said Ford does. I told her same deal with Scion. She seamed totally confuddled.
