1. i dont know if this has been brought up before but i was wondering if anyone has heard about how much mpg the tc gets with the supercharger?
im not expecting a gain with it but im also not expecting a huge loss

2. has there been any dynos on the car yet? im estimating 15% drivetrain loss with the manual trannny. so around 136 whp is what im guessing.

I haven't seen any info regarding your question.... probably we will know the answer in July....

 

from Corky Bell's book about S/C'ing... he said to expect about 5% loss on highway and about 15% loss in city mileage... so 27 hwy... and 19 city....

being fast and concerns of gas mileage are mutually exclusive...

15% powertrain loss is typical... but why does it matter??

 

drivetrain loss matters to me because i really want to know how much hp/tq it does put out. i cant be bothered to know that hp at the crank when the real world numbers are much different.
