Default Crashed TC ..Pics tomorrow ...Screw Rsx's *Pictures Update*

So I was driving to the gym with my friends today and as we where going to go on a to the 91 east and head towards the gym this rsx does an illegal U-turn in front of me so I swurve around him onto the freeway and hit a pack of gravel and end up in a 180...

So my friends and I get out of the car to figure out we hit one of those lights that let people onto the freeway and completely smashed my bumper off and some of the hood is a little warped...

I am very sad...
It also makes a tiny little squeaky noise which I hope...is something not huge...
Probably something to deal with the suspension...but the bumper completely blew off...but my lights are fine...they make these toyotas tough...

I easily smashed through that aluminum light thing and wires where everywhere...

I shall most likely post pictures soon...

Any idea how much this may cost...Im thinking a front bumper and new hood...no engine damage at all...maybe some suspension work...definetely an alignment

Wonder how much the insurance will pay for..also the Rsx guy drove off...[img][/img]

Sorry to hear about that man. If you have full coverage then you should only have to pay whatever your deductible is.

I hate hit and runs, this is why I carry a 9mm everywhere I go. 4 blown tires means he isn't going anywhere.

gotta love concealed weapons liscense

personally i would have just ram him since it was an illegal u-turn and he would have been at fault.

why take the chance of hitting someone else and being at fault for an accident

Ill think of that next time! You say that after the fact, but when your heart rate jumps off the scale in a matter of 2 seconds, you dont think. You just try to get away as quick as possible! Then later that night (like right now) you say "sh*t i should have hit him!" Not knowing if you or others would of gotten hurt? All in All, it would have been better cause the car COULD have gotten totaled and you would be looking into a new car next weekend other than taking in the current one and having that wreck on the title.

Oh well man, im glad your ok and knowone was hurt! F*cking Honda!

Yea I think that light thing might be about a 1000 dollars...
I definitely hope the insurance somehow helps with that O_O...
I don't know if they deal with city matters...
It wasnt the light
it was the metal box that controls the light also.

Its perfectly fine...
Only thing that came off was the guards...

They make these things incredibly strong haha...

The bumper and the hood are messed up...that is about it..
The bumper is beyond repair as for the hood I have no its like rippled in the front....

Anyone have any idea how much the bumper cost?..
I was thinking maybe just paying the difference and getting the kaminari front.
Its like 400 more though isn't it?

I know the temptation is there after the fact, but as a driver, you are obligated to prevent any and all accidents whenever possible - even if its not your fault.

I've had to convince myself of it a few times, but being ____ed off for a few hours is wayyy better than wasting a few hours filling out police reports and possibly ambulance/hospital time - not to mention the hassle of gettin your car fixed, and having to adjust your entire schedule around it.

Ill admit it was my fault for being careless I probably could have slammed on the breaks and waited for his ___ instead of swerving around and losing control.

So anyone know how much bumpers cost?
