Man i bought a TRD exhaust from a friend of mine, i called the toyota dealer to get a price quote on putting it on, they told me 375!! Thats a little steep for a bolt on exhaust just to install aint it?

 

thats what they do best.

 

Install it yourself.... 2 Bolts and 2 hangers. DONE.

Or take it to an exhaust shop and they'll prolly do it for $20

 

The dealer quoted me around 800 to put in some TRD springs.

 

Stealership (bolt-on) installs FTL !!!

 

I think theres 3 hangers...

 

 

Yeah i'm going to get a quote on at the muffler shop tomorrow, next i gotta figure out who can put in my springs, i got a friend who works at sears that said they can install my springs and everything, but i dont know about Sears. Not the place i would think of to do aftermarket lowering springs.

Yeah i'm considering just putting it on a jack stands and climbing under there and doing it myself.

 

wow, i paid $35 to install Injen when i had my car.

 

yeah with something that easy you should do it yourself.

 

mine took 12 minutes total with powertools and a crap load of wd40

 

Sears cannot install aftermarket parts anymore as maybe your friend is doing it as a favor to you but he can get fired......I work at Sears.......and have asked and they will not install any parts they themselves cannot order.
