i did a twin turbo b16 in a 91 hatch about 3 1/2 years ago it worked out well .i made 10psi at 2200 rpm and low 13's on pump gas and stocks .the only time i ever made faster boost is when i put twins on a dodge durango with a 5.7 and the ss 454 chevy truck

Yeah the main reason you got faster boost on those engines is because the size. They are both V8 so you have pretty much a 2.85L I4 feeding each turbo with the dodge & for the 454 thats 227ci for each turbo. So those things pass a lot of exhaust at any rpm compared to a 1.6L engine.

the only problem with puting turbos om the tc is that the compression ratio of the engine is too high(9.6:1). if a turbo were used it would ruin the durability of the engine. I would wait until trd come out with a better supercharger or a turbocharger just to be on the safe side.

It all goes on how much boost you run man. They got turbos for the 1NZ-FE & that runs with a 10.5CR. TRD is making a S/C so why would they also make a turbo?

Sport Compact Car turboed a Matrix with the 2ZZ-GE and that has 11.5:1 compression.
