Default De Badge Your Tc= super clean look

For all of you who want to boost the cool factor of your Tc, do this, go to the back of your car, carefully remove the Tc emblem, use some meguires cleaner wax to remove the residue, stand back and drool over your new rear end. I am going to mount my tc emblem on the dash, i will have pics soon. -Matt

I'm taking everything off mine...tC, Scion badge...everything...that way, the car is unidentifiable...so, when someone who doesnt know cars looks at it, they wont know what the hell to think...

de-badging does not lower the value of the car... Whatever dealer told you that was just looking for an excuse to give you less money for your trade I assume... They get replacement emblems for $1 or less each...

In fact, I was thinking about trading in my box awhile back, and took it into to my local toyota dealer for them to tell me what it was worth for trade, and even ASKED them if it was a problem that i removed the emblems... They said it was no big deal, they can replace them for pocket change

As long as you keep the emblems, or buy new ones on ebay or something, couldn't you just glue emblems back on and have no one be the wiser?

Sometimes, I like the way cars looks with the badges off, especially with a nice body kit. But IMO, if the car is bone stock and the badges are removed, it looks more like it was in an accident and taken to a cheap body shop that didnt' put the badges back on. Jus my $.02
