Default dealer installed options?

if when i go to buy my tc, i add on the shocks, springs, sways etc... does the price thats being rolled into my financing include installation?

or is installation extra? also, do they align the car, or is that extra also?

all dealers are different, simply ask them. but i know from my experience, i had to pay for the install of everything and the alignment.
If thats the case, do it yourself, or get it done somewhere else. Most dealers are rip-offs. they will charge you out the assH*** for install.

If you can do it yourself, I'd go that route. There's a very reputable website online at www.mcgeorgeparts.com where you get factory parts for cheap. Quite a few of the parts are marked down 50% from what a dealer will charge so you will save quite a few bucks if you plan on getting shocks, springs and swaybars.

i dont mind paying extra for the parts from the dealer, as it will be rolled into financing... which means i have more spendable cash every month.

when it becomes NOT worth it, is if i have to pay 500$ a shock to have them installed.

i always figured that install would be included for free... as ive NEVER heard of a dealer charging for install of factory opitions EXCEPT for the scion.

did anyone here get parts installed and not have to pay for install?

Well technically, they're not options they're accessories. The car only has two factory options, side airbags and an auto tranny. Everything else is a dealer-installed option so that's how they can charge for install. The dealer makes like no money on these cars so they depend on the accessories for income, if they didn't charge for installation then it wouldn't be worth even selling the cars.

It depends on the dealer, and they will be able to tell you when you order. The price list at my dealership all include install.
