I would take it if they gave me one free without warranty...I cancelled my warranty on my car...Waste of money...

the tC prices are non negotiable. the price is what it says on the sticker. if you were buying a different car where they mark it up like 5 grand so they have room to make the customer feel like they are getting a deal, it may have been a different story.

my dad bought the black 07 FJ cruiser TRD special package or something. it has a black top(instead of that hideous white), bigger tires, different wheels, trd exhaust, etc (you get the point). each dealership gets only one of these per year i guess. but when he bought that they gave him a bunch of crap. the price was marked up so much because it was a special edition that he paid for everything he got anyway.

car dealers are crooks and if they give you anything "free" most likely you are paying out of the a$$ for it anyway.

also, dealers love when you pay cash. they get the lump sum and can start gaining interest on it immediately.

Wtf. That's not fair. Does this only apply to customers who purchased a vehicle from that dealership, or can any Toyota/Scion owner come down there to take advantage of the deal?

If I'm not mistaken I believe it's only if you purchase a vehicle from there. Otherwise if you wanted that deal (and you purchased your car elsewhere) you would be paying out of pocket.

They will still get PAID.

LOL give me free poop because I pay in full with cash.

hahahaha
They really don't make as much if you pay cash rather than finance it. Their real money is in financing, after market ____ like paint & upholstry protection, extended warrenty and, of course, future service.

There is a dealership here in town too that gives free oil changes and tires for life. They run radio ads all the time But I looked into it once and the only fine print is they pick which tires they give you and its all subject to change at any time, so you can get a set of really great tires the first time and end up with some $40 special the next. They also pick which oil goes in. So if your okay with leaving that all up to someone else then its a good deal, but not for me.

when i bought my dirtbike they threw in some 50 dollar handguards and a 100 dollar pair of smith goggles with the self cleaning hooplah. it might of been cause it was one of the older year models left on the showroom floor and they were happy to get rid of it. haha
