Default directions for putting in cabin air filter?

Hey all
I'm trying to find the post that had directions for taking out the glove box and putting in an air filter. Can't seem to turn it up with any amount of searching. If someone could point me towards it I'd be much obliged.
Thanks much

yes the tC does come with a cabin air filter system but like most cars it does not have a filter installed, i believe its behind the glove box.

check out this post its a how-to for the subwoofer and the lighting kit but it has some information about the cabin air filter.

As for removing the glove box, its pretty easy actually. did it today to adjust my alarm sensitivity:

there's a panel under the glove, just look for two tabs on the bottom and press on them to take off. piece of cake.

the box itself is bit trickier. First, unclip the dampener on the right side. Look for the two hinges along the bottom. I tried to finesse it out but I ended just using brute force and yanked the box off its hinges...the right side first then the left side. The hinge on the box is a clip, so dont worry about breaking anything, it just snaps off and on.

Thanks much folks, managed to cut up an air filter and plop that in today. Does cut down smells a little bit but not quite as much as I might've hoped - can anyone recommend a good filter that has an active or better charcoal layer?

thanks!
