Default NEW INFO???

Now this is something I'm definately going to try!!!

EDIT:

So I hoped onto eBay just now and came across this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOT...mZ180279243563

So I was just wondering what exactly, if any, are the implications of this product as it relates to this DIY?

x2! This actually looks kinda promising, the holes for the buttons are the same shape as our buttons!

that actually looks awesome! the problem is the key blank isnt the right blank... prolly have to buy that key AND another blade key with a tC blank in it, end up costing around $50... still i may do it. lol.

edit: i just emailed the seller and asked if you can get the key with a tC blank in it. ill post his answer. (i wonder if the key has a transponder already in it too.)

^That's weird it doesn't fit. My '07 key looks exactly like the black toyota key they use in the example pictures...

edit: In your last picture there's a picture of your key and its different than mine. Mine has buttons the same shape as the one on the switchblade key. You probably have to re-use the buttons from an '07+ key...
