what could you get for 30k that would crush the 30k tC?

 

I was working on a all TRD tC lol but I got hated on for having TRD parts on here...

All I have:

TRD Strut Bar
TRD Sway Bar
TRD Axle-Back
TRD CAI
TRD Lowering Springs (working on getting the Struts/Shocks)

but I'd realy like to get the s/c and the new coil overs.

you could buy an old crappy supra for 2k and put 28k into it and have one hell of a ride!

it might have a spoon engine!

 

you could have a crappy old supra, but it wont break necks as well as the tc.

thanks man i want the s/c badly lol, i went to the dealer to see if they have honred the price drop for thr 05-06's and they havnt, I have argued countless times

 

TRD needs to build a Turbo kit w/ intercooler, block, and internals... (For the purpose of keeping the factory warranty while having F/I)

Some TRD gear is coo, but it is more cosmetic TRD than actual "performance" that is it's selling point (the "brand" name + warranty). In all seriousness there are better parts for the same price if not less. A ton of items like the TRD strut bar are basically just a rebadged hotchkis strut.
The only TRD part I'd really want would be the TRD LSD (unless something greater comes out from the aftermarket arena), but I'd only get that if and when I'm upgrading my clutch and flywheel with aftermarket ones (perhaps ACT and Fidanza). If I were to start from scratch again, I'd probably just get the premium aftermarket parts instead of "TRD" unless it was purely cosmetic. Just my $0.02, do what you feel is right.

 

yeah but for 30k you're buying 2 sets of suspension (shocks/struts, springs AND coilovers?) and the intake an s/c?

I have the basics. CAI, Muffler, Suspension

I have TRD CF badges on mine. I have one under the TC emblem and on the driver's side of the grill. I had people come to me asking if my tC is special edition If Toyota has FJs, Tundras, Tacomas for special edition TRDs...why not tCs too! Hell, why not a cool Camry too. Since car insiders believe Camrys are boring to drive....it could spice them up!

I do have funny story; some stock tC decided to fly by me on purpose to "Show off" his. I gave me about three mile head start and I gunned it with ease. Caught up to him. I purposely get at his side and flew by him. Let's just say; he didn't try again probably saw TRD badges.
