Does bumper to bumper cover this?

Does bumper to bumper cover this?
Washing my car last night and noticed that one of my foglights was smashed . It deffinitly was something from the road. I thought that the fog lights were shatter proof.
So, would this be covered?
If not, does someone have a spare foglight that I could purchase?

I would think if you just got them..maybe there is a 30day warranty or something? But i also heard that they have to replace the entire fog light kit not just the one fog light itself. I guess it's something toyota overlooked, and i think are working on fixing.

It never hurts to ask, but make sure you talk with the dealership manager in charge of everything. I had a paint chip problem where I was washing my car and the power hose got underneath the rock chip and pealed off like about a fist-sized piece of paint on the front bumper. i talked to the body shop manager guy and he's like "it should be an insurance thing, not warranty" and I kept yelling at him and when her gave me an estimate on how much to fix it it turned out to be $424. Then I talked to the Dealership Manager and he hooked me up to fix it for free since it's "so new." Hope that helps a little...

if they claim its shatterproof, wheter or not its kryptonite, it would be false advertising if it does shatter.
So you can sue them if it expressly states shatter proof and they do not replace it for free.

i believe i read that engifineer had to replace one of his because it broke from road debris and they made him pay for it. look for the thread. i think he said it was $100 for the one and he had to convince them to just sell him one instead of both.

you really cant complain though. it probably happened from a stray rock. it wont be covered :-\ sorry. thats just how warranty works.
if the wiring got frayed due to you washing the car, then maybe it will be covered. but for a lens braking it wont be
good luck
