Nobody would know, cause it ain't released yet.

But taking into account that stock airbox filter is the same size as they use in 1.8L 1ZZ-FE, a CAI can make more of a difference than usual.

Don't expect much - Toyota tunes their cars very very well generally, but dumb the ECUs down for emissions an other reasons. You certaintly could feel a difference, especially since it will compliment your exhaust. The GT-S celica got 8 wheel hp from the AEM intake, but its just like zolitz said, its not out yet (I'm taking zolitz word on that I have no idea....), and no one has seen the dynos. It could certaintly turn out that you'll feel the difference, but its not disputable that it WON'T be a tremendous difference.

It's on permanent backorder at the moment. There is no ETA.

rumor is it doesn't fit. which is pretty damn hilarious when you think aout it. I'll proably wait for an Injen, it might be out by the time I get my tC.

Only in your imagination, but that's enough for some.

from what i understand the power gain if any is so small if any you won't see any real gains. it'll be louder, but not really any more than a possible 1HP gain. the engine was tuned with 3 more HP than the camry so it's pretty much maxed out without playing with your fuel system or going forced induction. you can sleep easier though knowing your car is burning colder, denser(word?) air!

Somebody help me out with this one:

It looks like the stock air intake on the tC is already drawing air from the fender compartment -- I.E. it's already drawing cold air? (Someone on another forum told me this and on basic inspection.. it seems to be correct!) SO, if you added a high flow air filter.. you prob would notice the same increase in power as if you installed a CAI, right? Are there any other benefits to installing aftermarket CAI other than visually accenting the engine?

Anyone have any more info about this?
