tC draws cold air?
Somebody help me out with this one:
It looks like the stock air intake on the tC is already drawing air from the fender compartment -- I.E. it's already drawing cold air? (Someone on another forum told me this and on basic inspection.. it seems to be correct!) SO, if you added a high flow air filter.. you prob would notice the same increase in power as if you installed a CAI, right? Are there any other benefits to installing aftermarket CAI other than visually accenting the engine?
Anyone have any more info about this?

I have not seen under the hood of a tC. I would think the stock intake is plastaic or something like it with a lot of ripples & stuff that restrect a smooth flow of air. So putting a better filter might give you a little more power but I dont think it would be like a true CAI. just my $.02
