Quote: Remember that the quarter panel where the gas tank is always costs more money to repair than the side without it. I'm going to guess the suspension is damaged by looking at the wheel. There is some sick angle to your rear wheel.
^ this is true, i didnt notice that before untill i looked back at it... i just dont know

WD-40 some mothers wax and a lil man strength and that baby should pop right out. this goes for all instsances

but honestly hope its totalled because when you sell ur car the car will not have a accident record so it will even out in the long run.

can you replace just the quarter panel? isn't the tc pretty much a unibody car? i don't think the quarter panel just comes off.

it has to be cut, and depending on the shop (some use adhesives and some weld, adhesives are actually better then welding....)

This was my car, and it wasn't totaled.

What was needed/done:

new hood, new headlight, new front bumper, new mirror, refurbish door, new rear quarter panel, refurbished rear bumper, new fuse box, new tire.

It's a pretty nasty bite, but I would say it isn't totaled. I have seen some tCs that looks like a crushed soda can and they weren't considered totaled.

I bet the frame got torqued or bent some. I'd say totaled.

I snapped a few more pics today at the collision place I had it towed to. It's at a dealership, which makes me more comfortable. Anyways, here's my observations.

From the top.

Cute...

Hatch fitment.

Sunroof fitment.

Driver and passenger side door fitment.

Driver rear wheel.

Hatch area floor.

Eeep.

Just from that outside look, i want to say no. But maybe under closer inspection of any internal damages, the cost will add up and you as well just total it. Either way, good luck.

The lady who hit me is insured through farmers, the number they have on file for her is bad. They're saying if they can't get a hold of her I'll have to take care of it. Which is ___. Luckily I know where she works. So I'm going to call the insurance company about it today. I need to get a copy of my police report, and figure out a ton of ____. What sucks about all of this, is now I'm without a car. Nobody is providing me a rental car either. I'm forced to deal with not having a car because my parked car got hit. It's annoying.

Don't know why the lack of correct home phone # should matter, being that she has a valid policy and she hit you. I think that they're just tring to get out of paying the claim
