Default does your tc with I/H/E do this on cold startups

ok i have I/H/E i noticed on cold startup meaning when i first turn my tc on first thing..it idles alittle high like about 2k rpms for about 5-10 secs then drops to 1500 rpms for like 30 secs then fianlly drops below 1 k rpm as it wa rms up..

does any one else tc idel at 2k rpm on cold starts for 10 secs or so then drops as it warms up..somet imes in the mornnig i have to put in the silencer on cold start so its not so loud then when it warms up i take it out or leave it in...might be normal but who knows

That is normal, even during the day when it is hot and start it up for the first time it will idle high for a few seconds.

during cold startups the idle is supposed to be around the 2000rpm range to get the car in best operating temp asap. it eventually lowers as it warms up eventually idling around 600-700 rpm after it is fully warm
