Default Driving with a bent rim

My front right rim is bent. Everytime I go over rought surface it makes noise. What is a consequence of me driving with a bent rim? It doesnt leak air. Im planning to replace it as soon as I find a place to buy an OEM rim, but in the meantime I want to make sure that I dont cause any further damage.

Thanks

Im at work right now until 5pm, i'll get pics after. Its not really noticeable when the car is stationary, only when its in motion. I had the dealer check it out and thats what they came up with as the reason why there is noise (bent rim). Overall though, how safe is it?

I would not think any major problems would result. Minor things like lower gas mileage, bumpy ride, worn tire, etc.

If you need a rim we have some extras in the attic here that we are selling for $100 each plus $30 shipping. They are brand new rims and never have had tires on them. If you want one, shoot me an email to scionmatt@yahoo.com

That sounds about right. Just be careful on the interstate if it vibrates too much. Doubt that will happen though. Have you brought it to a rim shop yet to get a price on fixing it vs. replacing it?

my wife ran into a curb while trying to avoid getting hit by a semi, and it dented up her rim pretty bad. she drove on it for like 2 or 3 months without a prob. the dealer wanted 300 for a new rim and install. luckily we found the exact same one on ebay for 12 bucks. if i were u, i'd shoot florencescion an email. or look online on ebay.
