Default Duralast Brake Pads

Okay so my brake pads are getting to the point that they need to be replaced. I purchased a set of duralast brake pads for like 26 dollars. For such a cheap price i dont think its worth it. But hell, i dont know anything about these pads. So should i return them and buy either trds, axxis, or ebc. Or stick to the duralast ones. (that i have no clue on their performance)

If you are looking for a performance pad or a better then stock braking performance then return them. Otherwise they will be fine.

if your not on the track doing autoX's and straightaways then it doesn't really matter what pads you get, especially for such dinky rotors >_<

but brands i do recommend are axxis ceramics and hawks

For $26 you can't really beat the price and they will do whats advertised and stop your car. But, if you want to add a little more bite and fade resistance I'd recommend Carbotech Bobcats.

I run them on the street in my R32 and love them. They are low dusting and low noise but perform a hellva lot better than anything stock or from Kragen.

And if anyone is wondering why I'm posting here, a friend is looking at a tC and I pointed her here and it got me interested in what's going on in the tC scene since I left.

Edit: oops, forgot a like to their site.

That will take you to the compound description page. You don't want to run any of the XP6 or higher compounds on the street as they're made for the track and need to be up to temperature to work well.
