Default ebrake handle

i wanted to get an ebrake handle for the tC so i was looking around at different sites for one, found one at momo that i like then i realized something............

the ebrake handle is complete plastic or some material and has no boot, this comes as a problem because i have no idea how you would change the handle sinse it is not small with a boot. It looks like all one big handle all the way to the bottom. Just wondering if anyone has taken apart the frame near it and knows if it will be possible to change the handle at all

Thanks for the info!!

Probably not. You'd most likely have to cut the plastic covering off to mount a new handle.

Anyone cut the material covering the e-brake? I just bought an ichibahn e-brake cover without even looking to see if it would work. it does appear to be one long peice, and the cover goes ALL the way down...My Ichibahn cover runs about 5-6 inches, was just wondering if I could cut it without it looking ghetto, and slip it on. Just wondering if anyone else had the idea, or did the same...Kinda bummed for now

I don't have my center console in the car right now and I can tell you that you can easily pull off that plastic off the metal base. Momo handbrake and boot would be very easy to install.
