OP its your own fault for running non-CARB approved parts on your car. You live in Cali, you should have known the risk.

I never understand why people who live there whine when they get cited for ILLEGAL parts.

Man, I ____in' hate to hear stories like these. Especially with them tagging you and every other import with mods as a street racer. Thats just bullocks.

 

Well though his parts are illegal, whats BS is that hes being accused of being a "street racer" because his car looks modded on the outside (so I assume). He didn't say he was speeding at all, and STILL got pulled over. Racism towards cars is gettin worse

Here in Chicago, ANY tinted front windows are illegal but I have them on anyways. I got a ticket a few months ago, I paid the damn ticket and didn't come on here whining! You have to know the rules and laws where you live at...

^ No. We call it "profiling", but the cops call it "probable cause". They can spot something on the outside which gives them legal justification for searching the rest of the car.

 

great, now the street racers are gonna bring the cops down to FL..

sorry bout your luck though, cops need to worry about crime more than car modifications..

 

Dude don't even worry about it. State reff. facilities are closed in Cali. Just had a friend go through the same thing and he went to court and they dismissed the ticket for all his mods since the state reff. is closed do to budget cuts.
