first off you need to find yourself a power supply where the box converts that 120VAC from that outlet to 12VDC..
you'll also need to pay a fee at most shows to be able to hook up your car to electricity

something like that...you'll need like 10-12 feet of both ground wire and power wire (black and red from audio shop) in 4gauge. your gonna need terminals for one end to bolt to the cars battery post terminals, not the battery posts itself. hope that made sense, haha..the other end you will connect to the power convertors connections, plug in, power on and enjoy...thats basically it in a nutshell

when doing this do you unhook the car power wires, or just add the new ones?
is the box waterproof/ do they make them? im with mospeed, i need to get one of these but if i do it, i would like to mount it to my car and just get an extension cord, rather then hooking and unhooking the box from my car at every show... can this be done?

haha ok i'll try to explain it more. alright, so your lookin at your battery right? loosen up the bolts to unplug the car from the battery. take the ground and power you just loosened off the battery, take the nut completely off, that leave you with the bolts thread, slip the terminal i made (refer to pic 1) over it, and tighten the bolt. dont connect it to the battery, lol. do teh same for both ground and power. i hope you sorta get what i'm talkin about now

the reason why they make you use electricity at shows is because you NEED to disconnect the battery!
fire codes and crap... whatever... dunno.. but yeah... don't be stupid and leave your battery still connected while you hook up your converter.

so, how does it (forgive the stupidity of this question) power all my shiz? my stereo and all my screens/neons/ leds/ strobes have power wires ran to the battery with switches/relays to turn them on... right now ive got a dual post redtop. so if i unhook the stock wireing on the side post, and "bolt them to the wall" all the stuff on my battery wont be getting power, so ill have to rewire all that to be quick connect/disconnect? or am i just not fully grasping the concept?
