Well car show was a good time. Judging was TERRIBLE!!! the judge for the scion category knew nothing about cars. Heres one question Judge ask's "Did the engine cover come stock like that?" i laughed somewhat. But other wise met some really great people. Took place on one of the hottest days. Record setting 94 degrees! Heres some pics of my ride at the show along with some other scions. Sorry for the bad quality but the heat was messing up the lens

 

Yea rizzie i was sitting under the canapoy for a while then walked around the mall lol. it was dreadfully hot

show was pretty good... i enjoyed it. BUT the judges on the other hand.. BAD!!!! knew nothing about cars. i guess thats what you get sometimes.

 

Judging is bad all over. This is why I do not do shows. It's all political judging now. I've seen
some of the most hideous cars win. (More than once.) It's not worth my time. But, you do
meet some really cool people at shows.

 

guess we are pretty lucky here in the PNW.......most of our shows area SCCA points judeged,which give a even playground for gettign points ..........the hard part of shows that are judged liek that are it is usually the cars with most money in them win allthe time......

smaller shows usually are not based on a unified point system so it is hard to find a judge that knows their cars all makes and models....

glad to hear you had fun though......but sounds like the temperature was a bit high.....makes for along day when it is that hot.
