Ep vs. tc
Well my friend from redding came here last night and we raced. He has a ep with injen intake, headers and a midpipe. His car is very sweet. So we raced for the heck of it, my tc is all stock. We went from a 30 roll in second. Boy do i love my torque i pulled ahead, and we went to about 80 mph then stopped, his nose was at my antenna, so if we went any longer he would have had me. Then we went from a 60 roll on the freeway and went to about 105, he got me this time by about 1 car length after i pulled ahead in front. I am so happy with my tc, i love the torque, and im sure i can keep up with him in a long stretch with just a few little things. But the reason why i posted was because we then raced trading cars, same results, but i love how on his ep u just drop and go, his car is 2 years old, and mine is just 5 months, but my clutch is so much more sticky than his. Every time i shift i kinda gotta rev match orelse i get a little jerk, but his is shift and drop and gas even from first to second, i really like that any comments?

And this is the 'info' you get when you Google 'EP':

ya' moron.
don't'cha KNOW???? all the COOL GUYS know the CHASSIS codes and ONLY call cars by them!! IT'S SOOO "INITIAL D" anf "F&F" YOU ARE SO NOT COOL ANYMORE NEVER POST HERE AGAIN
seriously though, I would never call my Scion tC an ant, let alone 10 of em, chassis codes are good to know and if you don't know em nobody will care... trust me
"OMG WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOUR DAD OWNS AN AE86??" "well, it says trueno on the bumper so I just thought..." "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!!" *initial d*
and please don't call someone a moron for feeling vulnerable for not knowing something probably less than .002% of the world population knows, it's not dire information.
EDIT: BTW engine codes are more important than chassis codes, they'll come in handy when you're talking to a mechanic about your new custom intake you want and all you need to mention is 2az-fe it's something like the "2" is the generation of the bottom of the engine (block, bore, stroke) and the the AZ is the family of the engine and after the "-" or dash symbol is the engine specifics, like "F" is "economical twin cam, narrow angle around 22 degrees" and "E" is fuel injection - like honda's pride, the 2005 RSX K20Z1 on the DC530 chassis (acura rsx type-s) which is essentially the same engine as the K20A type-R engine - most of the time just google it and you can learn a lot, like I didn't know the RSX type-S chassis code, so I googled it.

Yeah most definitely, i didnt learn the si chasis code till like last week, its not a necessity, its just i refer to the si as a ep now cause im kinda used to it, especially after reading some stuff on ephatch.com
i was looking and and test drove a ep3 rite before i got my tc..i liked it alot but from what i heard there was alot of tranny problems with them..but for the money and options i think the tc was a better buy

Well just a few basic specs.
TC: 160hp/ 163 tq/ and weighing in at 2905 lbs
EP... sorry 2002 civic si, yeah the hatchback ones: 160 hp/ 132tq/ 2782 lbs.
He had headers, intake and midpipe like i said, so maybe an extra 6-8 hp on me, all in all it was good fun
