I know you guys know better then that.
haha yea true. but they didnt stop tere, you're off. they added stickers and 10 inch spoilers! how else can they get the hp? lol

and yea i mean, i expected and respected the comments. no beef w/ scion owners. i just want to give my side. [:

and thanx for the input

^ You expect this site to be all positive feedback? When a group of people say the same thing, in this case about the chrome grill, its probably cause it actually is ugly. There was a gentleman who posted up pics of his blue tc with a chrome grill, we got on him about it, he changed it to black with CF inserts in the Scion logo and it looked great. Chrome simply does not belong on a tc, you can be "different" if you like. Doesnt mean it will look good.

i've seen his car in person, it doesnt look bad, but from what I see, the person who had the chrome grill and changed it apparently gived into peer pressure.. oo yea i kno its not all positive feedback here.

^ Because it looked 10x better. It looks alot cleaner, its subjective but most would agree. Chrome on a tc looks tacky, leave that to Chargers and whatnot. Not on an import. Its like an unwritten rule (expceptions here and there but generally blah blah blah).

like ii said, diff. ppl. diff. taste. I know where your coming from but at the same time there are some exeptions. like "who said you cant have the best of two worlds?". Some imports can rock chrome.. like some imports can rock dual exhaust which you would most see in domestics

I like those LED things in the car on the side of the waterfall
if they were really light and maybe even went with how bright your head unit was they would be amazing looking

i agree, get rid of the grills, hide the neons under the dash so they aren't seen, clean up the system, it looks like the spoiler is lifting up on the drivers side, imo the car would look much better with all those things fixed which shouldnt cost anything, just attention to detail. as for 2k turbo, you pay for what you get, so be careful, also, where are you planning on getting iforged wheels for under 2gs brand new? last time i looked they were going to run me over 4gs for 20s (not for a tc)

there is a little gap from the tape because it fit a little off on the middle. in order to screw it in it needed the tape and it is prolly gonna have to stay that way.

car looks good BUT

U need to black out those grills desperately.

Goin Turbo with 2k is alil Optimisitc. ur gonna spend atleast 5k plus installation on a good turbo set up not to mention install tune etc. unless ur planning on getting a B/S Ebay turbo that will blow up, or a Used kit here on the classifieds then its believable.

The hood looks OK but i feel like it kills the lines of the car a OEM style woulda been better

i wanted to paint them the color of the rims i wanted to get, but no money for them. the temptation has to wait /:

i never decided which ones. they would only be black if the rims are black or brushed aluminum.

like rims too, chrome on the tC looks weird, but silver/aluminum looks clean.

but thanx. and yea, the hood mesh grill does have to change. whoever said my grilles were cheap i think they meant the hood one.

Silver/aluminum still looks corny on a tc. Grill speaking of course.

UPDATE:

I got myself Mo's 18" ASA JH8 wheels and love them. Being they are black, ther's no sense in having brushed aluminum grilles since they do not match the wheels anymore.

pics of the wheels tonight, pics of the grilles next week

so my dream was shortlived...got notice today that my baby is totalled.

Story: I hit something small on exit 19a towards annaplois from 495 going east. the car bouced a tiny bit, but hydroplaned after that, hit the left side then moved over to the next lane and hit the other wall, then the car rode up slowly on the wall and stopped. The car was on the driver side down, and then it flipped. all this at 40mph, hence why nothing happened to me or any other car or the guard wall.

These are the last pics of the car prior to the accident:

after the accident:

I dont know what I'll do yet. I dont know how much money I'll get or how much my insurance will rise, or what car i'll get next. I loved the community and the help I got and appreciate it. ho knows, maybe i'll own another tC next week or maybe it'll be a g35 which i dunno if i can afford insurance wise.
