C63 or the IS-F. I see a lot of IS-fs around our area though. Like they stand out and stuff if you know what you're looking for but the c63 is an amazing car. My friend has one and it's ____ing sick to ride in. I've been in the IS-F too and it's got that factor as well but something about the Benz. Either way you're good.

btw hit me up once you get one and I'll snap some good photos for you lmao

I think you're getting a very biased opinion on this site. Most of us are Scion / Toyota owners, so there will be a skew towards Lexus.

Personally, I'd go with a new BMW 1-series, the 135i coupe over a used M6 or the other cars you listed. If you're a fan of Top Gear or care what critics think, Jeremy Clarkson said it was the best car BMW makes. $18k less than the IS-F, RWD, twin-turbo 6-cylinder that shares 60% architecture w/ the 3-series, 302 HP, 300 ft*lb torque, 0-60 in 5.4 and speed-limited to 155 MPH. If you're worried about maintenance costs, you're not in the price bracket to afford the flagship Benz, Lexus or BMW, and new will have less problems than used.

Mercedes seems to be made for people who care more about the exclusivity of sticker price than what you actually get for that price.

I know it's you're money, but why spend more for a maintenance headache and not much performance gain? Also, remember that unless you own a classic / rare car, they only lose money once they roll off the lot. Before dropping a ton of cash on a ride and the invariable det that comes with it (in addition to the new mortgage), how's your 401k, Roth IRA and stock portfolio doing? Even in a down market, they'll get you a much better return by the time you're looking to draw from them, and the earlier you put in the better it is.

I'm not saying don't live it up, but until you're debt-free spend at least a little wisely, overborrowing and poor lending is what got us in this mess to begin with. And seriously, what line of work do you have at 19 (so I'm assuming without a degree) to be in such a well off situation? I wish you the best of luck in your endeavours but do get tired of seeing the "I'm thinking of selling my tC for xxxx luxury / sports car" that don't ammount to any more than wishful thinking. Of those that are serious, they tend to move up to a Mazda 6, 350/ G, or IS.

im a "Adminstrative Analyst Supervisor". and school, well its not all about having a degree, its about who you know and being at the right place at the right time.

No i dont have a degree, but im going to school at night and i take enough units to be considered full time, so im a full time student ;)

the only debt i have is the tc which is a cpl payments away from being finished..i pay 1k a month anyways, to speed up and pay off my orginal loan

im not going to lie, this can be considered a wishful thinking post, but i can make it happen..and if i dont change my mind.. it will

Yep you aint ready for a new IS-F, BMW, Benz or anything like that yet. That statement proves it. Save up for a few years, whatever you get now will be outdated by then, be worth less and etc. If you want a decent upgrade, look at a used G35/Z, Si, maybe even the new STi or Evo. Not something worth $60k+.

Most Important Question:

Do you have your own place or live with your parents?

Reason I ask, what's the point of having a t1ts car, but having to bring people back to your parents' house?

I know this thread is about you wanting to know what car and why, but I just can't help but veer off topic here and ask why you wouldn't want to get an actual HOUSE that is away from your parents? Houses are actually going pretty cheap now with this market. It will be a LONG time until we see the housing market go under like it is right now. I would personally kick myself in the a s s if I paid double for a house once we get out of this economic slump. Sure, you have your parents "back" house, but will that small thing pan out when you're 35, 50, +? What about getting chicks too? As cruel as it sounds, I wouldn't go near a dude that lived on his parents property, in another house at an older age. Independence. Isn't that something you strive for? Maybe it's me? Don't get me wrong, I love my parents with all I got, but eventually, it's time to be on your own. Not just financially but physically as well IMO.

Eh, I don't know. I just think there are better things out there to blow your money on right now. Pay your tC off and start putting your money towards a real asset. You're pretty young. You will appreciate it more as your life continues.
