Default Factory wheel locks for the TC?

Why do I here everyone on this forum recommending after market wheel locks, versus the wheel locks that Scion offers?

You should not run an aftermarket lug system on oem wheels.

Oem wheels have a ball seat style lug, where aftermarket rims use "acorn" style seats. If you use the wrong lugs your liable to have the lugs back off and eventually lose a wheel, or you will experience vibrations.

The only thing any wheel locks do is keep honest people honest. If somebody wants your wheels - locks won't stop them. OEM is just fine with me.

Agreed, if they want your wheels bad enough they will get them, no lug lock is going to stop that unfortunatley, except for maybe porsche wheel locks they acutually use a real key!
