i was wondering if i was the only one struggling with this stuff. the dealer slapped on the plastic/rubber fender guard strips and they totally look like crap. i already debaged it, and that was relatively easy (goo-gone, fishing line, rubbing). these fender guards however, when i took them off, they left a nasty strip of "adhesive" for lack of better wording. i've tried everything to get it off, including goo-gone, household cleaners, rubbing, etc. it just doesn't want to come off. i'm sure i could use some industrial stuff on it, but i'd also like to retain my clearcoat/paint. any suggestions? tia.
