My only advice is to only put your name on the list if you are 99% sure you will buy them at any deal. The reason is that once the vendor knows the numbers, they will set pricing. So if a bunch of people on the list are only on if they get a 50% deal, then it messes things up if they back out. Then the vendor has to be contacted to set new pricing and so on. It can make a group buy drag out forever.
