Finished my VHT tinted tails. Pics!!
Well, I started to tint a spare set of tails with VHT Nightshades about 4 months ago and just haven't gotten around to finishing them off until yesterday. I had to wetsand and polish them but I think they came out pretty good. They're pretty dark but everything on my car is black, these pics I have my stock wheels on but I have a set of black 18's that go on to finish the look. Let me know what you think.

And here's a pic of the wheels so you can get an idea of what the finished product will look like. I have to get some tires for these wheels so thats why they're not on.

Your's looks nice too. No, its not hard to do as long as you do it right and take your time. Ideally, from tape to wax you should have about 6 hours into the process. I highly recommend a spare set of tails to work on and take your time with so that you don't rush it and make it turn out crappy. Good luck, oh and I used the write up on here to do mine, but I polished mine and they didn't.
Thanks, I kinda thought in the middle of the project that it would never turn out right, but you just gotta keep on wetsanding, clearing, and polishing and they'll look right in the end.
Yeah me too... Thats why I have the stockers I can just throw back on if they give me a fix-it ticket. I work with Troopers so hopefully they'll be cool at work and not give me a hard time.
I received a fix it ticket not to long ago, but i also had the stock lights so i swapped them and swapped them back after i passed the fix it ticket screening. I never get pulled over, but this cop was being a dick, but i dont blame him they are pretty dark.
