Wtf, don't mount a fire extinguisher at the same height as your head. If you have an accident and that thing comes loose, you're gonna be in some big trouble. Even if it doesn't come loose, your passenger's head will get raped.

I ment that "mounted" fire extinguishers tend to border on looking ridiculous. Keeping one in the trunk for actual use is fine. Keep one around for safety, but don't mount it "for show" if that's its entire purpose.

For Show isn't its entire use, i mean, i have weeded out all of my crappy wiring, but just in case anything ever happens, i will be ready.

I have put out a co-workers jeep that caught fire, wire harness that runs in front of the battery, thanks to my fire extinguisher... just never know when you might need one and for 13 bucks its a smart investment. Here is a video of some dudes GTi going up in flames, fire gets a little beyond his extinguisher capability though
