First dealership service on my tC.
Seriously, learning to do your own car work saves you a lot of headaches. This forum is REALLY good about posting up DIY's and howto's and answering questions.
Stealerships survive by screwing you out of your money and not giving a crap about your econocar. It's a fact of life.

TRUST ME!!!
I've saved over $100 bucks so far doing my own oil changes. Its SO easy.
Floor jack $30.00s unless you're lowered; you need low profile floor jack which you can buy basic compact size one from Sears for $40.00. Jack stands if you're into safety too another $20.00s. I personally don't go underneath so I only use the floor jack. A wrench with 12mm nut. Piece of cardboard. Oil drain pan another $5-10s. Channel-locks or good oil filter wrench. New four quarts of oil. Oil filter I like using K&N due to the wrench nut makes it easy for the next change.
I do my own sythentic oil changes for $36.00s! At dealer, I was paying about $70.00 not including the 60k, 80k maintainence bullsh!t work for additional $200 bucks. That my a$$ got sucker in. Another thing...I caught my dealership not doing a sythentic oil change but yet they charged me. My MPG was **** and I needed to add in oil sooner than normal.
If a girl who did take automotive in high school but never learned how to do OCs can do it...so can you.

I thought of idea...sort of the same concept as Lojack. That told on the dealer service if they did half a$$ work or they did something they shouldn't have.
I see if my engineer uncle and his invention idea smart friend can come up with blue prints.
