I would follow it along and do the outside of the lower part. Basically i'd try and do what the OEM CF kit comes with, only also do the vents like you said.

Kind of like that 100 or whatever piece kit on ebay.

Btw is that the simulated CF vinyl that is supposed to look real in the light and stuff, or is it actual CF? Been thinking about getting a roll of the vinyl to dress up the interior a bit along with my OEM cf.

 

what if you do the lettering in CF as well.

It's real, I bought it as a sheet and it's pretty thick. I thought .015 was gonna be thin and flexible like the sportline eyelids, but nope...so yeah it's kinda hard to work with and I'm using sand paper to get the edges straight and rounded. I also made some center caps:

got the RS3 tails in...


debadged the tC emblem and painted the Scion emblems...


got the full TBL and short (Honda Fit) antenna on...


and finally (after two weekends of trial and error) got the Megan Racing coilovers dialed in just right...


There's more coming... (lip spoiler, maybe tint, MAYBE some 18's, but definitely retrofit some S2K projectors in the future)... the system's already done (mild and happy with it)... but otherwise, that's the progress so far...
