Saw this hood on ebay. It's a Kaminari Reverse Cowl Induction hood. Thought it looked cool without being too ricey. What do you think?

 

I think it looks pretty good, I don't like that kit though, looks like a fat girl in some small pantys

but I think that kit is decent, certainly one of the ones that works nice with the car (alot better than the widebodys that are out now), but I will be holding off until I see one that I really like.

 

i had that on my old civic si....don't get it. it makes EVERYTHING under the hood really dirty

 

any hood with a reverse cowl will. You need to clean your engine bay just as much as you clean the exterior.

I think that it is a nice looking hood and kit. But the duckets they want for it are kind of high. I would wait!

i think its ugly like whoa....and the hood, isn't that great either, i prefer my OEM c/f one to the kaminari one..

It's so the engine can get rid of it's heat better. Possibly it would also benefit short rams, cooler engine bay, cooler air the short ram gets, but don't quote me on this as maybe the reverse cowl may produce a weird airflow in the bay that deprives the short ram of air.

and even with the function/benenfit.. Is it worth that amount of money.. and does that really make your car run better whiles its vented?

 

looks alright to me, I would worry about it taking away engine bay space that some of yall might want for a turbo later.
