um i wouldn't do that too much, hosing down the wheels when the brakes are warm/hot.. cold water + hot brakes = warped discs (rotors) = pulsating brake pedal.. not good..

yeah you could wash the whole car sure, but don't do the wheels until the brakes have cooled down.. in a couple months it might vibrate.. and that's where it'll come from..

i just hope i'm wrong.. but don't do that again if you value smooth braking performance

You know your brakes get extremely hot as you use them... like, if youve been driving for a while, dont ever touch your brake rotors. Anyway, goto www.tirerack.com there is a lot of good information, and you could learn about your brakes, the different types of materials, how some really powerful ones make a lot of squeeking noise... etc. I like to read the user reviews, because people tend to give the best real-world experiences with thing like this
