Default front grill assembly

can the scion symbol in the front grill be removed? how easy is it to shave the back of the car? some cars use this soft material for the lettering in the back that can be peeled off and others use a hard plastic material that is snapped into a hole, does anyone know which one the tc uses?

Isn't the front molded into the grill? Thats what it looked like, other wise mine would be off already.

Also, I think the scion logo on the back of the car is slightly recessed. If you remove it, you will have an oval dent in the trunklid.

For the front logo - take it off, paint it black, put it back, the rear tC can be shaved with dental floss and some sun heat, rear Scion logo - tough one, if it's a dark car, makes sense to take it off and paint it black just like the front one.

the trunk emblem is held by double sided tape and there's a hole behind it to mount it. there also is an indent where it is... if you remove it, you will have an oval space along with a hole where it mounts on.

Can you say BMW badge? hehehe
I thought this thread was about replacing the front grille. I wonder when someone will make a chrome grille for the tC...

That COULD look good, but the interior of the headlamps are already blacked out and the stock grill compliments that. I think chroming out the grill would be a little too bling-bling, and it would make the headlamps stick out quite a bit.

I think it will depend on what the grill looks like. I don't want it to be too chromy, but a nice aluminum shine...sortof like the stock rims. No Escalade grill...but something Euro-looking and classy. Now lets hope someone will make one...and make it cheap

Yeah having the grille with the same graphite finish as the stock rims would look GREAT. Actually I think that would really help tighten up the overall look and design of the car. Excellent suggestion

Nice work with photoshop. Don't like the chain look though, something that has stripes going sideways would be nice. But good work nonetheless. Props!

LOL I was about to call you on the photo-chop but I saw that you admitted to chopping it . The graphite finish is nice but someone needs to come up with an alternative to the honeycomb design and make something new. And no, I'm not talking about a lame billet grille either.

i just used the honeycomb just cuz it was already there. i could have made a different pattern but that one is basic and gives a good enough idea of what it would look like.
