So, I went to go get my car smogged so I could renew my registration. The smog technician didn't pass my car because of the Fuel Maxx Control Module the previous owner installed. To pass, I either need to uninstall the damn thing or get the executive order (EO) number to bring to the smog tech so he can pass my car on the smog test. I cannot find the EO number ANYWHERE, including the chip itself. I'm pretty frantic to get this figured out before my registration deadline.

Does anyone have one of these in their tC and/or know the EO #? Mine is a 2009 with the TRD supercharger, if that helps.

 

Just remove it. By altering the signals going into the ecu, it probably causes more harm than good anyway.
