Default General exhuast ???

I don't know if this has been asked or not, but does anyone know if another muffler would work on the tc? For instance the mazda rx-8 greddy or borla exhuast, it is a single inlet with dual exhuast tips. the tips would need to be moved in closer which would be easier to do, cut and weld, but what I am concerned about is the performance aspect issues, yet still get the dual exhaust look. thanks in advance for any info!

Default dual exhaust

thats why american and european sports cars like corvettes, mustangs, ferraris, lamborghini, and others have daul exhuast? ONLY a few import cars have dual exhaust, like the 350z, rx-8, and there are a few more. Most cars that have dual exhaust actually need it to release the back pressure otherwise they lose performance. but for looks i think that dual exhuast is much more sportier looking than a coffee can sized exhaust tip. Look at the back end of a Ferrari F430 or even the new Skyline R35 GTR proto(they have quad tip, but it is the same thing) exhaust and compare it to a evo's exhaust of just a single tip.

Duals for sure.
But, duals on a tC would sorta be, um, overkill/stupid and you'd have to modify the rear lip to accommodate it.
I'd say no on the tC, yes on a performance car.

well it all depends on ur taste and other people's taste, if you want dual then go for dual. Why go with other people's thoughts? It's your car right? Im just saying here... And yes that dual exhaust tc looks pretty nice... but wow wouldnt that be a bit noisy? lol..

shoot if you can have dual, why cant someone do dual center exhaust or side exhaust lol that i want to see

I really don't want to care about the looks, I really just want to know if it would hurt the performance of the car?

I think it maybe worth it if you go F/I. I have the touring bodykit and it has the opening in the rear bumper for the dual exhaust, so I plan to go F/I with dual exhaust. Plus, I dont wanna ride around in a car that has a body kit to accomadate duals and only have a single...looks stupid IMHO, but thats just me .02.

Its depends on your taste.

To me it really depends on the engine configuration. If it's one with two heads, then I feel a dual exhaust is appropriate. On a car like the tC with an inline 4, it just seems unnecessary, considering both performance and appearance.
