Put a bunch of miles on it and take it back to them. The loss from being a used car will be far greater than the rims price and explain that to them. Then tell them you're going to trash talk them for poor service and buy another TC from another dealer.

To me, it's stuff like this that companies miss. Here is an opportunity for a company to eat a little but will gain far more from the customer service word of mouth you would have passed on. What a the dealership is.

I'd explain to them you asked numerous times about the car before papers were signed, they insulted you by asking if you wanted to pay more. Then, if you can get another car right away, tell them that you either keep the rims or they get to keep the car. If they want to be the proud owners of a used car, I'd see what a tC can really do on that hour and a half ride back!!!! Be sure to do a 4 wheel drift into the dealers lot...

Then be sure to post that dealers name here so others can see how they might be treated.
And so no one will buy a ragged out tC from them.

The verdict is in! The owner is letting me keep the car with the rims~!!!
Lesson learned = Good owner, bad management!

Praise the lord

Awesome! I'm so happy for you. I hate incompetence too! I made mistake too, but i'm a minor, not a dealership that handles thousands of car being sold each day.

That's awesome! What a cool "extra". I got one with my xA too. When I bought it, I ordered it 100% stock...no options at all. When I showed up to get it, they had accidentally instaled the 6-disc changer instead of the regular single disc. I didn't want to pay the extra $ for it, so I told them to switch it out for me. My sales guy said, "Nope. They made the mistake but they aren't worried about it. It's your's to keep." I was pretty happy about that too.

Keep it they messed up. Congrats on the free stuff. My friend bought a year old 99 car for the price of the 97 model cause the dealer put the wrong sticker in the window and didnt catch it til after the sale was completed. They had a 99 and 97 same model and color and options.

check the contract you signed. if it has the VIN for the car you're driving (which it better) then that's the car you purchased with the accessories that were on it.

they screwed up, you owe nothing more.

The next day, the manager calls me and says that I paid for the car I ordered originally, not the one i'm driving. Here's the kicker. He says I can keep the car, but I have to switch out the rims or pay for them in a new contract!!
How is that legal??
If the VIN on the car matches the VIN on your contract/buyers order.... I think they screwed up.

If it was an honest mistake you might want to let them off the hook. If you feel like they were screwing with you then....

I believe they're the dealer-optional 18" Enkei's, as seen on all RS1 tCs.

LOL. Do a 4 wheel drift into the lot and gives them the keys and walk out. Go buy from somewhere else. LOL

^^^^^ funny stuff

to the gentlemen or lady having the problem------>read below

be nice turn the car in and find another dealership because thats what i should have done the moment the first 2 screwups happened youll save yourself a ton of grief in the end..

damn i told everone on this one this dealers are shady as hell. they screwed up my financing even after i signed a contract and i had to put money down .

also they(WALDORF TOYOTA/SCION )promised 1 free oil change

most dealerships offered 3 oil changes free is standard (ITS SCION STANDARD OIL CGHANGE POLICY)....

so i have been taking my car to 355 toyota all this time for free oil changes and car washes..and the parts are cheaper too at other dealerships..

...they charge 500 bucks for a spring install(WALDORF TOYOTA/SCION ) everybody else 250bucks

....250 bucks for springs(WALDORF TOYOTA/SCION ) ...everybody else 179.00 although fitz offered me trd for 149.00+tax

WALDORF TOYOTA/SCION lost my business 355 TOYOTA/SCION and FITZGERALD TOYOTA/SCION gained my business TOYOTA/SCION WINS and WALDORF TOYOTA/SCION LOSES

im not saying waldorf toyota is a bad dealership but look at the things i pointed out to you PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR DEALERSHIP WISELY !!!

here something nice i have to say about waldorf toyota the cool part was they gave me 60 or 90 dayz to pay my downpayment after the mistake of no down payment.thanx guys
