Gettin Rid of my Flint TC for Black
i originally wanted the black color b4 i even bought the car..but at that time TCs were so hard to get...so i basically got the 1st one i found...it had the 6 disc changer and mats (in which i didnt want to spend $600 more for that) but i got it anyways..now i want to sell this one and get the base model but in black and save $600...what ya guys think of black?? Cause iw ant to get the wide body kit and i think the black would look alot sexier than the FLINT....The flints got too many different colors in it!! I wouldnt wanna see how much paint would be

To each his own, I guess, but I think you'll lose at least 2-3K in the deal. Have you considered just using the money you would lost in selling this one and buying another one, to just buy more accessories? I mean with 2-3K, you can buy some pretty good stuff and really hook up that Flint Mica. If you want a demonstration, give me 2-3K and I'll show you what I can do with it in my tC
.
You can probably eBay the Flint and lose very little money - the car is still hot and Flint is a decent color (not my bag of catnip, though). So there is a good chance for you to swap it out with minimal loses. Painting a new car is not very smart either. So try your luck on eBay.
And yes, black is awesome ;)

a really good shop that does a custom paint job will turn out just as good as a factory paint job or better and it can be any color you want. show cars do this all the time. but as for the tc on autotrader, sounds sweet if you can sell it for more then u got it hehe, then u will have mod money
Yeah, if your gonna get the widebody kit, your gonna have to get it painted. It won't cost much more to paint the entire car then to paint the kit. Plus, then they don't have to worry about color matching and getting it not so perfect. It's not like Scion is gonna be painting your car.
I would suggest not selling the flint, just get the kit and paint the whole car black.
Personally, I prefer the Flint.
