Default Getting Options installed at the Dealership...

Opposed to at the Factory, will it cost more? I ordered a tC 2 weeks ago, but it'll still be another 3 weeks before it comes in. However, another dealership got about 4 in yesterday that are pretty much bone stock, and i'm thinking of going to get one of those instead and just getting the options I want installed at the dealership. Will it cost much more than the regular price for the options?

You can't get those things installed from the factory. The dealer is the only place where you can have it installed.. unless you buy it online and go to an independent shop. But in the end, the only factory-installed options are airbags and transmission.

Oh? When I ordered one he seemed to imply that they would be installed at the factory, but I guess he was mistaken. Oh well, I'll just pay the labor costs if it means getting my tC quicker.

Are you sure about that? My dealer said they can install things like the rear lip and exhaust at the port I'm not too sure about the springs though. Anyone have any idea? I would actually rather have my springs installed at the port so I don't have to pay for labor. I'm going to call and find out.

Exhaust and springs are only installed at the dealer, as far as I know. They aren't Scion accessories, they're TRD accessories.

Rear spoiler should cost the same whether you order it from Scion or get the dealer to install it.

Go buy your car now! Run! Before somebody buys it first! :D

As sure as anything in life.

I'm not saying I couldn't be wrong, but call the dealer and ask how much it would be to get the spoiler and installation. I know for sure that the TRD items are all dealer-installed at this point, so installation prices can vary.
