next month i'm going to be drivin to Myrtle Beach which is about 850 miles away n i dont have enough room for all the stuff i need to bring

its going to be me my gf my son (in a car seat) n 2 other kids, clothes for me my gf n son for 8 days, 2 strollers a pack and play, a small cooler, and bedding

what can i get so it will all fit n not kill my MPG's i was thinkin a roof rack and car top carrier, or get a hitch and a cargo carrier that attaches to that

oh what car will this be at? ...id suggest a roof rack. this way you are not lugging anything behind... and those things are somewhat aerodynamic which will not over kill you on your MPG.

dude, you better pack light, seriously. two adults, two kids, and a baby in a car seat? your going to be overloaded with clothes, swim wear, towels, toiletries, and all the stuff your going to need for your son. i say ditch the two kids. that way you can fold down the two rear seats and have the one seat on the side for your son.

I have a really hard time seeing half of that stuff fit in a tC. If the seats could be folded down, it would be a different story, but no way with 3 in the back seats.

Time to start thinking of a rental.

i say go with the roof rack, and throw the two kids up there on it, fold the seats down and use that for your clothes and stuff. leave one side up for the carseat and your kid. Pack light, as in one pair of boxers, one shirt, and one pair of shorts. Or the going naked plan always works too. make sure road head is mandatory from the gf for giving all that up

my vote would be for the hidden hitch and the cargo tray. the hitch will also allow for you to get a bike rack for future use, but not have the receiver sticking out below your bumper.

i also like the idea of the cargo tray since it could be used as a seating type arrangement - you know, like parking on a causeway and watching the sun set, etc.

best of luck!

Probably your best option right here or leave the kids with grandma

listen... It will fit... I got evything from my dorm room in my car and there is no way in hell I should have been able to.... Pack the strolers firs than pack evrything around them... put the cooler on the floor in front of the baby... scoot the passangers seat forword so it will fit... put the pac n play on the drivers side along the side and put the cloths in a soft sided case so it will squish down then lay the beding over the top.... im telling you man... I think you can fit it in there its just how well you can pack... and the worst thing you would have to do is pack the the stuf out of a suitcase and take out what you need when you need it...... It will fit have faith
